Day 4 – Dumbleyung to Kulin (151 km) | Day 5 Kulin to Wagin (158)

Injury: an atheletes worst nightmare (Michael Jordan circa 1988).

309 kilometres in 2 days saw the resting of Relay Mate, Heath East on day 5 to prevent further injury.

Cold mornings, rain and warm days have seen our Mates endure tough conditions during this leg of the relay but every morning (along with the ‘Pit Crew’) they are up at 3.00 am ready for another day. A constant reminder that while they might be doing it tough, there are many out there doing it tougher.

Our thanks go out to all of those people in Kulin and Wagin who attended our evening functions and to the Kulin footy club boys who ran with the Mates thank you!

Please keep sending messages of support either via the website or facebook as they are passed onto the boys throughout the day.

We are experiencing an issue with our online donation process and ask that you donate to Mates 500 Relay BSB: 306-020  Account: 022582-6 and help us bring these boys home!

More photo’s to be posted later today… and if you see us on the road between Wagin and Kojonup give us a wave!!
